We are working on developing a Local Area Transport Plan specifically for the Ampthill, Flitwick and surrounding area, which will identify what transport improvements will be made in the area over the next 3 years. To help us with this work, we would really like to hear what changes you think would improve getting around the area, whether that’s through walking, cycling, using public transport or driving.
For example, does a bus stop in Ampthill need a bus shelter or better bus information? Should we be doing more to make it easier to get to Flitwick rail station and how? Could a new cycle link really encourage more walking and cycling in the area? Is parking locally a real problem that needs sorting and how? Or can we do more to lower traffic speeds in villages such as Flitton, Greenfield, Pulloxhill, and Steppingley? All your comments on local transport matters are welcomed, and are very important as we develop our plans for improving transport in the area.
As well as Ampthill and Flitwick, we would love to hear your comments on transport in the Clophill, Flitton, Greenfield, Maulden, Pulloxhill, Steppingley, Tingrith, and Westoning areas.
