We are working on a Local Area Transport Plan specifically for the Marston Vale area, which will identify what transport improvements will be made in the area over the next 3 years. To help us with this work, we would really like to hear what changes you think would improve getting around in the are, whether that’s through walking, cycling, using public transport or driving.
For example, what can be done to encourage more people to travel on the Bedford to Bletchley rail line? Should local cycling links be developed to places like Cranfield University and the Technology Park to get more commuters cycling? Is a crossing point needed close to a local school? Or should more be done to reduce traffic speeds in villages? All your comments on local transport matters are welcomed, and are very important as we develop our plans for improving transport in the area.
The Marston Vale LATP covers a number of different parishes that we would love your views on. These include Aspley Guise, Aspley Heath, Battlesden, Brogborough, Cranfield, Eversholt, Hulcote and Salford, Husbourne Crawley, Lidlington, Marston Moreteyne, Millbrook, Milton Bryan, Potsgrove, Ridgmont, and Woburn.
